I posted a link on the Facebook page much earlier today about the rate of ice melt on Greenland. I then saw footage of the event on the news. Now instead of this tipping me into a depressive funk, it energised me and I hope to bring you all along with me in this enthusiasm!

This week I’m responding to a question. A few weeks back at the community garden we were in a group discussion about the impacts of climate change. Three percent of Tasmania had been ravaged by bushfires, large parts of the Australian mainland were and are under drought and some of those areas in Queensland had just been hit by a drought breaking weather event so large 100s of thousands of cattle drowned due to the suddenness and extent of the rainfall.  Continue reading →
